You\u2019ve seen them on TV\u2014those cupcake shows where chefs bake amazing, themed cupcakes that are then judged by other chefs. How would you like to try that out for yourselves without the pressure of cranky judges? Join cupcake bakers extraordinaire Jen Ekstrom and Tani Eley<\/strong> (from past years’ Girls Just Want to Have Fun camp fame) as you create delicious, stunning, and beautiful cupcakes. Wow! This powerhouse team will guide this crew through the technical aspects of display design an<\/strong>d baking<\/strong>! We will plan and build the backdrop for the competition, face a new themed challenge<\/strong>, and work in groups of competing bakers<\/strong>. We\u2019ll spend a couple of days on cupcake basics<\/strong>\u2014measuring, mixing, baking, frosting<\/strong>\u2014and learn to showcase our masterpieces creatively. We will finish the week with a baking battle judged by staff and campers. May the best cupcake win! While making is marvelous, eating is the true experience we enjoy, and the budding chefs will not only be able to eat what they create, but they\u2019ll also take a cupcake home. Yum!
